Parkland High School Music Booster Association proudly supports Parkland Music Department Programs for Band, Chorus, and Orchestra
The Parkland High School Music Booster Association supports the music departments and directors of Band, Chorus, and Orchestra, in addition to all music-related activities at the High School including:
- Funds for special instructors for the Band, Chorus, and Orchestra, including seminars given by professional musicians
- An annual Music Department Semi-Formal Dinner/Dance
- Three $1,000 scholarships annually to Music Department seniors
- Assistance with PMEA District 10 Instrumental and Choral auditions
- Support for Indoor Percussion Ensemble and Indoor Color Guard
- Equipment loading and unloading and on-field setup for all Marching Band performances
- Discounted food and beverages for the band students during 3rd quarter break at all home football games
The Parkland High School Music Booster Association participates in fundraising activities and events to raise the needed funds to support music-related activities such as:
- Operating a concession stand at all home football games, the PHS Festival of the Arts and other special events
- Hosting competitive events for band, color guard, percussion, and many other fundraising sales and events
